Hate to sound like a piece of rope but I'm a frayed knot. Ha ha naw, what did I say that could be morphed into innuendo? This forum smells like fudge so a man has to be careful.

Horshack! LMAO. Alright. Theres only a few more pics right now. I better explain first-
Its a 68 Camaro. Tubbed, caged, fuel cell-ed, and four linked. Power is the plan. They want it nice but it is covered with issues.Somebody got all new steel except roof and tail panel, then proceeded to fvck up the installation of new quarters as much as possible. I don't get to take quarters back off to fix, nor can I do anything underneath. My task is estimated at 14 weeks as of now. I gotta get gaps and make it straight. I think a mechanic must have done this bodywork. Don't know if anyone here can comprehend whats about to happen but I'll show ya as I go based on enthusiasm of responses.
More pics, study hard...

other then the shoddy body work, its set up for speed already, those tubs look huge, what tire they running?
No idea on tires but dayum yeah, theres no back seat happening in this baby. I tried more than once to get a shot of the rearend under it but the internal bat in my cam es muerto so it gives me fits. It would take a hunnert shots to show the bad stuff I found at a glance. The previous bodyman will be throwed under the bus many many times during my process. I honestly mostly fix other peoples old messed up bodywork, and mostly I don't mind. This is a challenge.
The project will be woefully devoid of any mechanical stuff so don't get your hopes up on that. Just metal and filler work then paint as far as I know. As is obvious, the job was pulled away from another shop and the owner is already once bitten.
i don't think a bodyman has worked on that... yet. I can weld better than some of the work, and I can't weld! LOL
I reckon the bodyman that done it might be just one fry short of a happy meal. I am just hoping there was at least a tape measure involved...
you know tony in a bottle? thats who did that panel work.
you know that drunk guy holding his thumb up to plumb a wall lol
Hell yeah lets just eyeball it! lol Thats about what I gotta do. To be fair, there are a lot of guys who could build a chassis and cage and floors and tubs just great all day long but really really don't want to be involved with outer panels. This reeks of that. I can't change anything structurally but I can make sure its all together solid. It was a work in progress when the labor stopped, obviously. I am just glad it has epoxy primer on it. First thing I'll do is dig some spots out that have been mudded. I suspect the roof to quarter seams were poorly done, as well as the rust patches in the window beds.
soooo when is this getting delivered to my house? i wasnt paying attention during the converstion
what about the headlight fluid? do i need a few gallons of that as well lol
Look on the firewall, this thing has the integrated dual Horshack valves and uses the same fluid for blinkers. So get a whole case. Don't buy the orange, get green so the bulbs won't sludge up as bad.
http://kalecoauto.com/ has all those hard to find items. LOL
The Mustang got painted. The clear solvent popped on the top surfaces but thanks to plenty of clear, it sanded and buffed away smooth. Gonna put it together soon.

Got a better look around the Camaro today and took some pics. Did some exploratory excavation, made a list, took the front clip off and started lining up the right door. Lots of areas to fix sheetmetal-wise, but the chassis work looks to be typical race shop stuff or so I am told. Looks like two different guys worked on it, to me. The body measured out square to the frame and most of the errors are in the quarter installs. But its a mess and I have a long row to hoe. I have plans for all of the fixes and options are being weighed on this n that. Feel free to discuss what you see. Its Art Morrison chassis parts, I am told.
