going down the road at 45. 5 lane two direction road. center turn lane the lady in the escalade was heading towards me. She was in the turn lane and turned 100ft from me. I saw it, crossed a lane and a half, made it 3/4 of the way into the turn lane to try and avoid her. Wasn't enough. Couldn't tell if there was any other traffic on her side of the road so I wasn't going to head into the oncoming lanes. 45 into the side of an escalade would hurt. Combined speed impact of 90+ would be deadly. I took my chances with the broadside impact.Quote:
