For those who are not on my Facebook, I have recently started a donation page to help my dad. The link is http://gofund.me/mcygy4

It would be a shame to see such talent go to waste and see him be in more pain than he already is. Any help would be appreciated...or even the sharing of the page via Facebook or Twitter. Thank you all very much. This is really the only hope he's got left.

Thanks Shayne. He's been in such a downward spiral since about Sept...having to turn away work because he just physically can't do it due to the pain. He's been searching for a job that will give him decent benefits just so he can get the medical care, but there really isn't anything in the area that will pay a living wage that he can do in his current physical condition. Once he gets his shoulder fixed and he gets moved, he plans on having a real job...and those custom hoods will be his side business. I'm sure anyone who donates and is interested could get one on the cheap, but we gotta get the word out first.

New update. Dad has agreed to build a free custom ram air or cowl induction hood for the largest donater on GPF. If that isn't reason to donate or share then I don't know what is.

Time limit ends when money has been raised...so it looks like you got awhile. Hood comes painted in your choice of color, but due to possible shipping damage, it cannot be shipped but can possibly be delivered if the donation was right.

Has your dad considered filing for temp disability? I know first hand (partially disabled due to right leg above knee amputee) this can take some time to get but once you get it they do go retroactive to the date of said indury or point of disability. Also being self employed and having a low income at this time he should see about filing for medical and other assistance.
