Just me but personally if its just for tuning I wouldn't even bother buying used cheapo laptops are easy to come by even a new Walmart special would be fine.

If it's just for tuning don't bother with anything fancy.
If you want a great all in one for home and car , and under $500 - well that's what I picked up
i had an old clunker I used for tuning but I found myself switching between desktop and laptop too much due to it being slow with other programs.
I did. I think I would much rather have more RAM, and I don't think I would use the touchscreen much.
It's same way I felt too. Touchscreen wasn't important , but once I started it using , I never want to go back
could be because I'm trained by iPads and iPhones to want to touch the screen all the time .......
I use a factory refurbished Lenovo Think Pad T410s I picked up for $300 running windows 7. As long as you only run .Net 1.0, you will not have issues with DHP running it on windows 7. I have yet to encounter a hardware compatibility issue.
Hmmmm. Maybe I should go play around with some touch screens.
