Has anyone used a iPhone 5s as a hotspot? My needs would be checking email only and some minor web browsing when wi-fi is not available. This would only happen a few times a month or less.

Verizon has a free 5C with 8g of memory. Is this enough, I am not big into streaming or pictures, just looking to replace a 6 year old flip phone.

I use my LG G3 as a hotspot daily (I have unlimited data still). Works just like any access point....

iPhone would be the same thing; however, Verizon used to charge $30 extra a month for it. Not sure if thats a thing anymore.

    Verizon isn't throttling your connection?
