I know that ZZP is popular on this wesbite and I was wondering what your guys experience has been with them so far. I ordered an exhaust system for my car almost 2 weeks ago now and it still has yet to ship. I emailed them last week wednesday, they got back to me friday and said that it would ship monday. In the mean time i also called 2or 3 times. So on monday it didnt ship and i replied to their email saying it didnt ship and asked when it would. So today they still didnt email me back, so I emailed them again around 2 p.m. and called them yeasterday and twice today and STILL no call back, and i left my phone number in the message every time. Have you guys had similar experiences with them as well?

80-90% of the time, they get the order right, shipped on time, with tracking and there is no issue. People don't have a tendency to comment of good or normal service.

The 10-20% of the time they have issues, people are more than willing to complain about it. That being said, they are in the middle of a move, so I'd personally avoid ordering from them until they are settled.

I've had excellent service from ZZP before, and I've had absolutely **** service from them before too. Stuff not shipped for 1-2 weeks, then when wanting a refund they say it already shipped, when in fact it hadn't.

Don't try to call ZZP. I think there was one guy on here who got through, and when he did they laughed at him cause he wasn't a Cobalt owner (None of the prior statement is true, but seriously, you'll never get through)
Emails work best, they are usually good about getting back to you within 24-48 hours.

My honest opinion of their service is that it holds true to any small company/individual. There are good days and bad days, though they really should try to step up their customer service since that's who keeps them employed.

I've never had a single problem with ZZP.

Been hearing a few "complaints" about them lately, but it seems to be due to the reason they have been busy moving locations for the past few weeks.

I've ordered stuff from zzp 3-4 times now and only issue I had was I had ordered the 8 rib sfi harmonic balancer, and they called me to tell me that they no longer had the standard size balancer but they could just send me the overdrive one for the same price.

well I finally got a call back, and they actually left me a message. They told me that they were backed up on exhaust systems and the one that I ordered should be shipping by tomorrow or Friday. So hopefully they will follow through and I'll have the exhaust by next weekend. Next week will be week #5 without a muffler, so the headaches while driving will hopefully go away soon

I am local to ZZP so of corse I never have any issues. But all I can say is this, they are super short staffed all the dam time, and they just got don't moving into a new building. So while I can understand your point of view, I would say just sit back and give it time. Did the person who called you leave a name by any chance?

I have ordered my parts from zzp over the years and never had a single issue. I bought their 10.3mm wires and over a year later they were misfiring like crazy. I emailed them and got a full credit with no hassle. I have also gotten some great deals on Black Friday.

I think my issue with ZZP stemmed from when I contacted them for a tune for my car before I decided to do it myself. When I asked them questions regarding what they planned for the tune, they were almost arrogant to a point. I politely (I seriously mean it...I was more polite than a deacon in church) declined their services and the response I got back was basically good luck finding "anyone who can tune my piece of crap." I think since then, I've kind of been on some form of black list. I wasn't upset...I know they probably get a zillion people asking them questions and were having a bad day, but it left sort of a sour taste in my mouth. Then when I ordered some parts later...and got billed TWICE without receiving parts, I think they were basically just blowing me off. I can't be positive, but it certainly wasn't a pleasant experience.

its kind of sad they don't have someone who can run the phones. the email crap is terrible. its a lot easier to talk over the phone and get your point across rather than having to email back and forth and waiting for a response ....

I agree, especially because they dont email back for several days. Or atleast call people back within an hour, instead of 2 days later

The biggest problem with ZZP customer service is the fact that Steve takes care of like 99% of it ALL... All the calls, all the emails, all the FB junk. He does almost all of it.
