    That other Richard Petty edition Grand Prix is probably worth the same too...except they think they will collect $75,000

    i'd pick it up to drive it for sure. looks clean.

    then when it rusts out i'd drop the trans in something else.

    To be honest, I would never deal with one of those transmissions again. I'd stick to the Getrag 282 since it can be rebuilt and there's actually an aftermarket for it.

    The Grand Prix with the 2.8L got a 282 plus like every FWD 5 speed from 86+.
