Well I don't know exactly how long it took. That is just how long it took me to notice.
When I first moved in I had an extra refrigerator that I didn't have a place for so I had it sitting on the front porch. I had at least 10 junkers stop to inquire about it. LOL
Yeah it gets a little crazy on junk night. Each night, as many as 6-7 different trucks may go down my street in one night. I remember when I was young, maybe 12, and I felt energetic and disassembled our metal swingset; we took all the poles out at once. With my dad and I bringing them out, I only got to the second drop-off before A guy in a junky pickup stops, and claims them as his lol. We pretty much just were handing them to him
Hmm, not sure what type of component would look like that with only 2. Unless the other burned off or something
Beats me, its getting canned anyway. Made quite a smoke show!

I bet I'm more familiar, I blow them up for fun lol. Got a big box full of stuff to overload
Drove 550 miles for work today. Punched in at 6:20 am. Drove to Pittsburgh and back to the shop. As soon as I got back I loaded up again and took two deliveries out. Went back to the shop, loaded up, took lunch, headed out again and delivered to 5 more places. Got back to the shop at 4:15 and they were hooking the trailer up to the "new" truck. Got it loaded and strapped down and drove out to a rig site about 2 hours away. When all was said and done I punched out at 10:20 pm. 16 hour day. UGH!
Too much windshield time.
Yeah. The trailer haul wouldn't have been that bad but there was some major weight on it. The damn 5.4 Ford engine is anemic. Also I was on country ass back roads for about 15 miles until I got to the rig road. The country roads were marked 45 mph but with a 20 foot trailer and narrow, windy roads my speed was limited to around 30 mph max and was usually slower than that.
Was planning on getting the truck running tomorrow, til I found this during the rebuild of its carburetor

Filled with gas. Thought it was just a stuck inlet needle, nope.
yeah, a float thats full of gas wont work, or float lol
No wonder there was a quart of gas all over the intake manifold. Needed a rebuild anyway, hopefully it runs better after this.
Yeah that's what happened, primary side vent tube was a small gas geyser
That happened to me on my Mustang many years ago. I went out to grab some lunch at work and when I went out to leave the car just cranked and wouldn't start. I popped the hood and messed with some stuff and continued to try to start it with no luck. A guy in the next parking lot over saw my hood up and came over to see if he could help and told me gas shot straight up out of the carb when cranking. Unstuck the float and it fired right up. LOL
