Well I wouldn't personally, if you did you would have to do a flush to get all the well water out using distilled, not just add distilled. With the lower rad hose pulled there's still almost a gallon of fluid in the block and part of the rad.

I think im over thinking this lol, so after some internet snooping. If I flush with well water then pull the lower rad hose drain. Fill the rad with distilled with the tstat out run the car for like 15 min. Drain repeat above drain. Fill rad with a gallon of green concentrate, top off with distilled as needed and I should have most of the well water out and have a good coolant ratio for michigan winters.

Or just pour distilled in the lower hose while running to flush the well water out. That will get more out than diluting it and re flushing.
do your flush, then take the well water hose away, run the car till no more water comes out the upper hose. turn it off. then dump your mixed coolant in the rad, run the car till green comes out the upper hose, then shut it off, then put the upper rad hose and t stat back in and top off with your pre mix.
So like the 50/50 stuff or pure green.

i like to buy 1 gallon of concentrate. not per mixed. then mix it yourself. one gallon added to the rad with just water will protect down to -20. the whole system is only 3 gallons or so.
so mix your coolant up, (this is where a extra old antifreeze container is nice to have or a washed out milk jug) run it dry again, then add the mix to the rad till its full, then fire it up till green comes out the upper hose. shut it off and put it all back together. then top off with the rest of your new mix and water.
In 16 hours I'll be in a diff country
Thanks scotty, I'll pickup cheap gallon of green concentrate unless a certain brand is better for some reason.

Apparently my Financial Aid for last semester was denied and they're just now telling me. I owe $2100 now. **** this school. I'm paying them off then I'm done.
Russ.. don't get green. Get AnyColor. That way ... it won't matter what is mixed....ever. I buy only one type of coolant these days.. the kind that doesn't care. Works just as good from what I've seen.
Hustled along and picked up some stuff to get an idea of what is needed in the shed for organization. If anyone has seen a must have organizer etc, please ... post a link, a name or something. I'm looking for ideas.
Put up a 4 foot deep shelf.. It's not quite as strong as I hoped with 2x4, but after rock leveling, they were laying around soooo they were used.
Both snow blowers, mower's bagger (I did most of the work with the mower in the middle of the shed and had tons of room). Dethatcher on top, bump up there.. IDK what else. Snowies in the corner. Organization is needed. Planning something to stand the black blower up on end, those handles stick way out.

check home depot out Bill. they have some power equipment hangers and hooks that work very well. lowes too.
its all we used for hooks and hangers in my friends landscape trailer. only we welded the hangers to a steel flat stock and screwed it to the wall, not just the hanger. for durability.
more has been added to this, the walls are rather full now.
