Yeah, I know. The G is far from perfect. It's paint is rough from an overspray accident when I owned it and its in need of more body work than I can give it. I'm still going to go check out the GP.
I'd honestly go with the GP.
my mom has an 06 Malibu Ltz (same car as the G6) and I'd take the GP all day everyday, and twice on Sundays.
lol so true.
at least she not like this one girl i knew named angie. dam that girl had to think about every little thing that got old really fast. im like hey lets go something anything!!! she goes let me think about that. 2 week later still no answer... i freaking dumped her so fast it wasnt even funny. its ok to be picky about what you ware but not about life choices
I owned that G6 for 2 years before I got rid of it due to money problems. Lee bought it from me. So we've had it for the past 6 years and 65k miles. It's honestly been a good car. It's been our long trip vacation travel car and never let us down. Gets a bit better mpgs then my gp. I always thought I'd want it back some day but idk now. I enjoy driving it from time to time when I do have it.
But supercharged 3.8 fun....
I hate my mixed feelings/lack of being able to make a frickin decision. Seriously Danielle, it's not that damn hard.
Part of it is tho, I get the G6 for next to nothing. Sell my car and I come out smelling like a rose and profit.
The GP, I'll have a small loan even after selling my car.
also too if you hate it you can sell it again.
The G6/malibu's are good cars, don't get me wrong. But they seem so cheaply made compared to a GP, the seats are just awful and I can't sit in them for more than 2 hours...
My mom has had hers since 09 with 50k on it. It has 90k now and has not had any problems.
Still... the GP > G6
you know what thats all chevys fault if you look at the camaros vs the trans ams you see that camaros look cheaper
Do you plan on adding go fast stuff to the GP if you bought it? I would look at it like if you want a DD or kind of project/summer car on nice days and such.

Yeah, I have noticed some things in the G seem cheaper.
The gp will be a daily, I don't have the funds or time for a summer only ride.
It will maybe get the basics, idk how far I'll go tho.
The GP at least you know the platform and its quirks how to make it a reliable DD ect, plus you have the aftermarket to make the car whatever you want. Downside would be the payments.

so your saying the GP has an S/C? if so get it no more thinking
GP > g6
I've driven my sisters old g6 for awhile and it's a nice car don't get me wrong but the GP was still always better and felt better.
Also I believe in the 3800 will be a more reliable engine in the long run than the 3500.
