Doubt it probably just some gimmick ZZP tried to sell you on to get you to believe that they are so much better then the parts store.
Personally I stick with the parts store ones that way when they go out (which they more then likely will) it's a easy drive and exchange type of deal.
ok, good to know thanks
I agree. Check out rockauto as well.
Zzp are junk. I bought 2 front from zzp. I got 2 others as were replacements. Couple months later I then I had to buy 2 more because they were out of warranty.
The best are OEM
The best aftermarket are Timken/SKF or anything with a 1 year warranty or more.
All the rest are junk. These are 30 60 or 90 day warranties.
I'm running the cheapest ones from rock auto. I have about 15-20k in them and they've been fine.
LOL, yeah i know ive seen some of those $35 bearings on ebay. i have changed both fronts like a year ago, i got the them from auto zone they where duralast, and now they both are bad in under 30k, i thought zzp made good products but i guess not.
I replaced all of mine with Moogs, haven't had any issues with them so far. Been on for maybe 5k miles.
I just needed to get them on so I could get the car aligned. I used cheap ones on my old 98 and it lasted about 40K and then I pulled it off and put it on my buddies gp se and he's still running on it about 20K later and it's still tight. I'll keep using cheap ones until i have a ton of money to burn or need one the same day.
I actually replaced both of my front ones with MOOG on monday and they have a three year warranty on them and two years ago I replaced the passenger side one. Just took it back to Advanced Auto and they gave me a new one.
