I wish I had known about this before I bought my 2000.... though I wouldnt drive that in winter.
I would have offered them 7,250 for it. I bet they are going off how rae the car is with that mileage.
Nice car none the less!!!!
iTs fishy ha
I don't think it is a real GTX the way I read it he bought all of the GTX stuff and put it on. Unless they where options from the factory like that. Maybe I am wrong.
The ONLY way it is a TRUE SLP GTX model car is if it has a SLP sticker on the inside of the drivers door with a product number. If it doesn't have that, its not a TRUE SLP GTX. Bottom line.
I have my SLP factory sticker on my door
Entirely possible that is a true GTX. I remember seeing it before as pictured, but don't remember when.
Those aren't GTX wheels, one too many spokes. It does say GTX wheels boxed though and it comes with the ones pictured too.
The GTX could come with the stock spoiler or an SLP spoiler, but not an anniversary spoiler. You're probably thinking of the SLP Gen 2 spoiler. Although they were available throughout the years, so I suppose a combo car might be possible (never seen or heard of one though). Would be kinda cool to see a Limited Edition/GTX or similar. Would have to be really rare.
Many of the pieces and upgrades were optional and could be installed on multiple trim levels.
ohhh maybe a gem then?
This is not the best shot I have of how the actual SLP Badging is suppose to look, but you get the idea.
SLP, from what I have seen in their ads and from others cars mocked up by SLP, have the Stage badging on the lower right bumper and the GTX badge is placed on the top center of the bumper underneath the trunk lip.
I moved my badges on mine, one due to the fact the original Stage badge was broken when a car backed into it or the original owner back into something. See here....
I moved the GTX badge upto where the Grand Prix badge use to be, below the trunk keyhole and Stage badging I moved to where the GTX badge use to be.
Yeah I like James' color too. BTW, if you ever wanna sell those SLP mufflers, let me know :-)
yeah nice!
