No. Go for the Energizer Pro series. I use it as a Security Guard and has a high/low setting. Uses 4 AA batteries and is stong as hell. Only $25 at Canadian Tire. But sure you can find them at Walmart or something.

$50 isn't to bad, it's rechargeable too so it comes with the charging cord and no batteries to buy

JETBeam BA20 270 lumen - the most useful and durable thing I've bought, probably ever. Literally use it everyday. Take it on fishing trips, boats, hikes, anytime I travel. Used it several times working on the GP. Dropped it from 3-4ft onto concrete a few times, still works perfect. JetBeam gives you extra O-rings and rubber button too. Still got my originals on and its been nearly 2 years since I've owned it.
I just use rechargeable AA+, Eneloops are the best but I just use 2400MAH+ Energizers & Duracells. Personally, I would avoid any flashlight with proprietary batteries. They will without a doubt wear out and be more expensive than some rechargeable AAs.
Best part about this light = it switches modes via rotating the bezel/head. Rather than having to half-press the button several times to get to the mode you want. Sounds like a minor detail, until you start using the light everyday. Have some other lights like that, don't like it.

Plan to get another one of these in the future to keep in the car permanently.

My dad has the mentioned TerraLux flashlight. Much prefer my JETBeam to it. The BA20 is slightly lighter weight, brighter, and switches modes at the head. And...well.. the BA20 is easier to hold in your teeth when you need too..lol.

I liked this light so much I got JETBeams 830 Lumen BC-40 , but it ain't no pocket friendly light.

Yea that knife is cool as hell. Look at it everytime I'm at BassPro.
Couldn't justify that light to myself tho, unless I was a cop. Especially since I'm on the water so much... I could live with dropping $40 in the lake. Would suck, but at least it ain't $150 lol.

Yea I originally saw that knife at smokey mountain knife works and fell in love with it. I'll post a pic of my other fixed blade Gerber later that I keep on my flak jacket. And I need a good high quality light is why I got it. And the multi tool I got cause I broke my other one...then lost it lol.

here's the other Gerber fixed blade i got.

got it 3 years ago on close out sale (for the model they now sell) comes with a very nice sheath which weaves perfectly into my flak, and also has the accessories to mount to a pistol holster which i havent used but is a great thing to have. i fitted it on mine just to see if it works and it does.

I'd go with one of the surefires, I've had the same light for the past 5 years now with no issues and 3 of it has been in current military use. My dad also has had one for about 10 years that he has used on several deployments.
