    So the same tree fell twice?

    There are no trees anywhere near my driveway for a reason. It was like that when I bought it. That is uncommon in Houston. Tons of my friends told me I would hate it because there wouldn't be shade over the driveway. Of course they are always griping about the leaves, sap, etc all over their cars constantly.

    I found out 2 years ago (6 years after I bought my house) that there used to be a tall tree a few feet from the driveway, but it had fallen a few years before I bought my house. When it fell, it had so much force one of the limbs was driven through the blacktop in the street and couldn't be removed. My neighbor that told me about showed me the spot. I am so glad that tree is gone.

    looks like a tree fell, then a very large branch fell later on. sucks for sure if its real.
