Whats the deal Mike? We've kept quiet about this for a while now and have been getting nothing but complete lies and the run around from you about this purchase. I for one don't see why you would advertise and sell a product you don't have to begin with, but to blatantly lie and give a customer the run around for MONTHS about it afterwards? Thats just ridiculously unacceptable.

In case you can't figure out what order I'm speaking of, you if you've forgotten about it which seems to happen all to frequently... here are the E-Mails you've received and sent back in reply dating back from the day these where ordered Wednesday August 6th, 2008 from just recently Thursday November 20, 2008.

Hi Bobby. I emailed you on the 11th regarding this order. B&G called us and explained that their shipment only included front springs and that the rears would be coming in on the first week of September.

Hi Bobby. Last I spoke with them they were going to be in this past Friday with them shipping early this week. Unfortunately they bumped the ship date up on us several times over the course of the last 6 weeks. I am very sorry for any inconvenience. I'm unfortunately limited by the information I'm given.

Hey Mike, I'm contacting you in regards to order #**** placed on August 6, 2008 by ******** from ******** of *******, **** ******.

The order placed was for a set of B+G lowering springs coming to a total of $233.97. He has contacted you on the 24th of August regarding this order and you replied saying that you only had the front set of springs in your possession and that the rear set of springs would be arriving the first week of September.

Then on the 14th of September Bobby had sent another E-Mail regarding the order and why he had yet to receive it, and you replied saying that B+G had told you the springs would arrive 'This past Friday' which would of been the 12th.

Well it's not the 22nd and I've decided it might be best for myself to step in and get things moving a little more quickly. So what, is the current situation on these springs? Do you have them? Has B+G yet to ship them too you? We here at the shop need to know something about whats going on with this for a decision can be made on how this is going to need to be handled.

I sold my struts and springs august 2, 2008. My car has been in the shop since then waiting for the b&g springs. You sent a e-mail that said
B&G their container has arrived and all of our previous orders should be shipping this week. This includes your pending order. That was Monday, October 13, 2008.

Hey Bobby. I hate to sound like a broken record but after speaking with the owner of B&G this past week it appears to be more of the same. He says the springs are done and on a container ship on their way to the states. Unfortunately between transit time and processing of the received shipment once they have it I'm afraid we're probably talking another 6 weeks.

Of course, this is all assuming that their estimate is correct this time. We've heard this story from them before though he was able to prove this time that the springs were indeed in route to the states, after I started raising my voice. So I presume this is correct but again, I'm here and they're there so I can only pass on the information as I receive it as I'm sure you understand.

We might have a replacement set of springs that we start shipping to those that don't want to wait. It would also result in a $10.00 discount and would take 2 - 3 weeks to ship versus 6. Would you like me to look into that option for you?

Josh, Thank you for your recent purchase with W Body Store. Unfortunately B&G notes that their springs are still on a container ship overseas which has yet to depart for the US. As such we have cancelled all of our orders with B&G and are in the process of shipping replacement springs of a similar style. Your set will be shipping today. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and our gratitude for being as patient as you have.

If you have any questions or if this presents a problem please don't hesitate to contact us

Hey Mike, I was just wondering what the replacement springs of a similar style was and if they are ssc i do not want them. And I was wondering who Josh was in the previous e-mail that I received from you. My name is Bobby.

Hey Bobby. Sorry, Josh is the first person we sent that email to and from then on we copied and pasted it and changed the name. I guess I missed it with yours. At any rate, the springs are indeed SSC. Unfortunately it's just about all that's available for these cars right now. B&Gs are months out still and I don't put any stock in what the employees over there tell us since we've received the same 4 week estimate for 4 MONTHS now. :-)

The springs have already shipped but if you don't want them that's not a problem. We can send you return shipping and we'll take them back and issue you a full refund. I apologize for the inconvenience. I wish we had more control over this situation.

I apologize before hand if one or two of those aren't in order since I had to manually go through and sort them out. It gets the point across none the less.

First of all after thats all posted up and out of the way. These SSC springs will not be accepted when they arrive. I find it somewhat amusing on top of that... that you had to resort to ordering SSC springs from ZZPerformance to have shipped to him. Especially when he already had SSC springs at one time and sold them becuase he was'nt happy with they way the car sat afterwards, yet you think it's acceptable to send him another set of the exact same springs months later to try and shut him up?

Bobby is a nice guy but if you think he, or myself, are going to just sit back and let you screw him over your sadly mistaken. Actually, your lucky further action has not already been taken agianst you at this point.

its pretty common for small shops to not inventory parts. When your small you can only put so much on the shelfs with the hope its bought.

Its all in how you handle when your supplier is out of stock. Most suppliers will lead the vendor into thinking the product going to be here next week when its 2-3 weeks out. When your dealing with parts coming from over seas, its a guessing game. I have had containers get lost, i have had one get every single part inspected, took 2 months... I even know someone who had small parts with them all boxed into large boxes marked made in china, Since each part was not indiviual marked it would not clear. Luck they guy was a 1 day drive from customs. he had to drive his but there and stick stickers on ever item. All 30k of them so he could get them.

99 Prix GT...you should post that over on CGP....they seem to be in a "Oh no you didn't just diss a vendor, FLAME, FLAME, FLAME mode...I chewed a little ass but it would help if more people that have had issues posted over there to get mikes attention. Mike use to have awesome customer service but it looks like its been going down hill for a while now and most people have kept quiet out of respect for mike...he needs to take a hard look at his business if he wants to keep it in these financially hard times...its not like he sells items people "MUST HAVE"

Simply referring to the shipping, and not the time in which it arrived, I don't really see what's unusual about how they did that. I have never seen GMPP bars come in a box (whether bought directly at a dealer parts counter, from GMPD, or from various vendors). The denting would be the shipping company's problem, not WBS.

The time it took for you to get it is still an issue, but the shipping portion is not out of the norm.

thaz right, and with a tight economy the statement gets truer with each passing day. add in that the wbody excitement has no where to go but down at this point I suspect he'll have to look at other areas for income.

I look at his stuff from time to time but after getting jacked around on a motor mount about 2 years ago I've not spent a dime with him.

This why I do not deal with WBody anymore!! They tell you one thing to only turn around and tell you something different. I have always loved how they will get you a UPS tracking number, but then NEVER ship the product until WEEKS after you have received the original tracking number.

I have been on the receiving end of this kind junk from them several times now. I am done dealing with them. Also their products, IF they ever get them can be easily purchased elsewhere without having to deal with their BS.

They hosed me on my first ever set of HID headlights, I dealt with them for 3 months and all Mike could say is that it was a grounding issue. I gave up on them and got another pair off eBay and walla!!! They worked the first time out! Funny no grounding issues with the eBay HIDs. I call BS on WBody!

And then I was stupid enough to purchase their shift kit with tranny filter combo. OMG what a POS thing that was! Their picture on the site shows a nice set of springs, metal washers etc. And what did I get when I received the package? 4 PLASTIC washers instead of what was shown in the picture. Of course I got a hold of Josh, who is about as useless if not more than Mike and said that the picture was old and they do not carry that setup anymore. Somehow I doubt they EVER did!

I feel your pain man! Good luck with getting anything done with them.

It is simply amazing they are still in business to be quite honest!

We had a shop like this around here, the guy started pulling the same **** and well after 1500 bucks for a 3rd gen camaro exhaust( customer supplied parts due to the custom bending and shaping that had to be done for ground clearance) we got the car back and thats when we gave him the chance much like you are to make it right, he didnt make it right, his shop is no longer in existance and all his new ventures have failed on him due to this one incident with one customer.

Shut the guy down and remove him from the forum for business purposes.

Not Likely...look at the other products they have tempted people with in the past year or so that haven't come out.

Elimi-slip comes to mind...and I know there are a few more.
