Love/ Hate: MY Gold B1tch.
PT Cruisers
Any kind of cube looking car
Civic SI (Used to love these but you can do much better for the money and a lot of people that drive them are douchers)
Most hybrids
Nissan Versa
It's a love/hate for Grand Prixs. I love mine when she acts right but when she doesn't I want to burn her with fire. Also the GP I see around here or either in extremely poor conditions or have 24s with crappy cut fenders so I tend to hate those douche bag owners.
That sounds exactly like my 04 smh, when she breaks down it's never a big thing it's always a little problem that causes me big frustration .
The cube. I keep expecting to find a cube otaku custom paint their cube car to look like Rubik's cube.
Any mitsu****si I've ever seen. A buddy of mine had this timing belt break, and when I went to pull the harmonic balancer off the casting broke. Now he needs a new engine, because the HB's are pressed on and break all the time.

I'm sure there's others.
Other than the $, I love working on my GP. Everything I have done to it thus far has been cake work. The only time I bled was when I pulled my driver-side blend door actuator, certain mounts under the dash would double as a potato peeler.
I've worked on several Mitsubishi's and not one had a pressed on harmonic balancer. Besides, he shouldn't need a new engine because of a broken balancer.
I have been around Mitsubishi's for over 12 years now and have NEVER seen one broken timing belt. Have seen failed timing components, but never a broken timing belt. If your friend's broke, then he was an idiot who didn't do proper preventative maintenance.
He hasn't had the car long, but I'll agree he's not one for maintenance. I'll get pics if you want next time I'm over there, it's the 420a engine in a 1998 Eclipse. I used the correct puller and everything, broke the casting on the balancer itself. There's nowhere else to get a 3 claw clamp on unless we brake off the timing cover, and even then it's a long shot. The engine has 220k on it, and from what I've read online, the HB is pressed on the crank snout pretty far, and cutting it off screws the crank. I supposed we could pull the crank off and have it machined, but putting that much work into a 220k motor is kinda like chasing your tail...

Oh yea, it's an interference engine as well, so that's all moot point anyways...
I hate many cars. The most common reason is due to the drivers. Not the cars.
