Leaded gas and ethanol aren't the same...Denso makes lead tolerant o2's anywho...I ran them on the blue car just incase I ever wanted to run a buttload of leaded gas and not have to worry about the o2's fouling out.

Also: E85/Leaded...Not comparable really other than octane rating.

I'd skip the race gas business. It's an expensive band-aid.

Go get the car tuned...then it'd run knock free on PUMP 93~.

OK maybe my assumption is wrong, but isn't will the only one who can tune 06+?

I have a few people with hptuners in the state that could tune, but I thought the program only went to 05 pcms.

As of now I have wills PCM in and it was actually a noticeable difference over stock, which was surprising for a canned tune. Especially considering my intense tune on my SSei was garbage

Canned PCM's normally run pretty rich.

I was under the assumption that HE figured out how to tune the '06+ cars...problem is, I'd rather have an in-car tune done...a canned PCM can only do so much unless you get him a live feed scan of how the car runs and then he can adjust accordingly...you might try getting with him on that and see what he says...that might help the KR situation.

How's the condition on everything else? I think we've been over this before but I always ask everyone if they've flipped the upper mounts, cleaned the TB, done a tune-up, replaced the lower mounts, and checked the downpipe for clearance with the sway bar...

I'll get ahold of him to see what we can do for an email tune. But before that obviously I need to get a few pulls done and get some data logs. That in itself will be a days project as the nearest hptuner is 3 hrs away. Upper mounts flipped , nothing done with lower mounts, not sure on dp hitting anything. Tb and maf cleaned 200 miles ago, al 605s w new belden wires, 180 stat , trans pan drop, new Dex 6 w shift kit, and coolant flush all done within 500 miles

    Check the DP/sway bar contact.

Could be happening from failing motor/trans mounts too...as they are fluid filled. I suggest poly uppers and solid rubber lowers.

Common thing like LIM gaskets and tie rods/hubs...just something that the platform comes with

Thanks man. I'll look into those mounts. Its just the car runs so quiet and smooth I didn't wanna get 'semi' solid mounts. I think I'm good with the lim since in 04+ I thought they dumped the garbage plastic gaskets. Tie rods are still OK but I am getting the occasional abs/ trac control light which I'm guessing is the typical wheel speed sensor in one of the hubs going, or a harness. It usually only comes on after I hit a big bump. But I have had it come on at random driving down the interstate.

My buddy has a snap on solus, and I'm guessing that reads abs codes, so I'll see if anything pops up

Eh...midway through '05 they updated the gaskets.

You're right on the edge being plastic or metal gaskets anyways...is the LIM gaskets on your car silver/gray or black?

Also. Is there a sticky in here for the mount locations and or removal procedure? I'm thinking a mount may be bad but just want to make sure its the right one and that I'm not missing one
