Who picks a car based off 0-60 times?

Do you live your life a quarter mile at a time too?

    This.

The only issue is the name plate...and people don't like talking price on them. They suck.

Doesn't have to be perfect. One in decent shape with a old 4 banger in it would work. Gonna pull most everything out from under the hood, likely to tub the rear end eventually, will need some welding for proper supports if done "the right way" so its going to be gutted and fixed back up from the ground up... and who cares about the rust stains, you're going to be kicking nice cars asses with a POS Ford, that's the real insult.

Alright I decided on the trans am lt1. Or if I can find a ws6 for a reasonable price But What would I have to put in a lt1 to make it run in the 11s quater mile Or 4s 0-60?

wait.......youre on a limited budget and you want 11's? out of an LT1?
you sound like my 16 year old cousin. 4s 0-60 most likely wont happen.
well if you ask. really good ported heads+big cam setup and some spray will get you there.
you can supercharge it as well. you should count on the stock rear end breaking though.

If someone is opting for a LT1 it's obvious money is a huge factor in finding a car. They aren't horrible and are doable as long as you are comfortable spending a little more cash in the long run engine wise. I personally love the LS1 body style because they look more aggressive, but do have a soft spot for a LT1 firehawk.

if your solely concerned about those kinda numbers just get a decently stalled auto ls1 with bolt ons = 11sec car

other then that tho get something fun, manual, sounds good and who cares how the 0-60 is if you have a limited budget just have fun

between an LT1 and an LS1? theres a huge difference. you will be able to get low 12's out of a fully bolt on LS1 car with slicks.
