    Looks at consoles...

Looks at my computer that I have about $1400 in that eclipses anything a console will ever do.

PS4 for me. I'm neutral when it comes to gaming, have a gaming pc, xbox 360, and ps3. MSofts practices and gimmicks strayed me away. Only think I liked for me was Titanfall and some other exclusives. Other than that, PS4 all the way. Destinay, the order 1886, and many other games look fun. It's cheaper. Has same amount of useful features that I can get on the xbox one, and aren't controlled by monopolistic nazis

But i actually prefer mouse n keyboard. Steam, variety of games, ect ect. Each system has their pros and cons.

    You are very sadly mistaken.

My roommate is running a GTS8800 that's almost 5 years old, and plays battlefield on high settings

Im running dual 480's, and GPU scoring up there with overclocking 680's. I run nothing below ultra settings. I also often play on a 55" TV, with no quality loss (about a 5fps hit though)

I also get to tweak my hardware to my liking, and can upgrade whenever I want.

    Oh yeah, and free games.

Consoles have their place, if you're not tech savvy and like arguing with 12 year old about insecurities. Or have a hot chick friend and you let her play the Wii and you just watch.

Marines542 nailed it though... First gen stuff seems to have terrible issues. I only went through 10 RROD Xbawk's

High, not ultra. He plays around 30-50 FPS, no issues. And yes, his PC was bought nearly 4 years ago, only thing changed was a 120mm case fan that the bearing died in.
