From everything I have read, its recommend to run 1 battery pack vs 2, so I got a 4s 60c pack comming, should handle the amps just fine.
AIr force, hey your house is mine here is $5 now gtfo or die!

Fck me I hear what your saying.......
MY twin 2s came today, soldered up some xt90 plugs and charged er up. I have to pack 1 battery where the original one goes, very loose inside and trim out the cavity right above it to squeeze in the 2nd. Man these packs are LIGHT. I messed with it only a few seconds inside, and DAM does this thing pack power. I also got yelled at for leaving black rubber lines on the floor. Cant wait to test it out once the batteries are secure!

I think it is time to upgrade to a 2.4ghz radio Cory.
I hear good things about theses systems.
Spektrum DX5C DX5C DSMR AVC 5CH TX w/SRS6000 (SPM5110): Spektrum - The Leader in Spread Spectrum Technology
Futaba 3PV Futaba 3PV 3-Channel Computer Surface Radio System
Radiolink RC4GS RadioLink RC4GS 2.4G 4CH Car Controller Transmitter + R4FG-G Gyro Inside Receiver for RC Car Boat Sale - Banggood.com
Upgrade the am radio why! Its old school, badass and works great!
So we all took the rc's out today, my fun lasted a whole two minutes ye ha! Saw the one front wheel was binding and dragging went to turn it by hand and it was jammed so I forced it to turn, well that broke the pin in the cvd SO whatever drive it in 2wd, screw came out of the top suspension arm, game over ugh. 30min later when the daughters ruckus FINALLY went through the battery we went inside, swapped the og axe and cup back in and put a longer screw in, success! This thing pops wheelie forwards and reverse and is stupid fast. This truck was not ment for the road its dam squirelly going wot and top end just to much monster truck going on. Oh and after 40 roll overs, backflips and barrel rolls the og axle I just put in, is now gone..........I think I only have 1 more OG axle left.

lol I have never had a issue with it. The 8 batteries are a pain but they are all rechargeable. I dont drive to far away, I dont enjoy running to go flip it back over, and my long antennae? I LOVE THAT THING! I tell the kids when they ask why I have it "because mines better and stronger"
Went head on to a mail box post, saw it comming and I guess my brain wanted to see it hit? Snapped the shock in half. Said fck it and kept driving for another 25min, broke the rear pin in the cvd so now its a 3 wheel 3 shock truck woop! Guess its not going to florida with me now I really need to stay off road, on road I always have to mu ch fun and break things.
Those mailboxes come out of nowhere.
Yeah my 1/18 Ruckus got ran over by an S10 Blazer, it broke off the front bumper.
mine had broken everything front to back. frame, both towers, all front and rear suspension and shocks. cracked wheels. im lucky the nitro engine survived. pretty much had to rebuild the whole damn thing, ran me a couple hundos.
At that point you might as well have bought a new roller.
