I've found a couple of RC threads but they're old and I couldn't anything recent.( I started one but that was 3 years ago)

Whole point of this thread is for us RC guys to discuss what cars/trucks we have and what we use them for, if it's just bashing, stadium or whatever.

Also feel free to post videos if you have them. Carnage pics are always awesome too.

If you have a review of your car you'd like to post up that's cool.
Got aftermarket parts you'd like to review/talk about? That's great too.
Chargers and batteries you like? Talk about those too.

Everyone post up what you got!

    I'll start. I have an E-Revo VXL. It's a little 1/16th. It's quickish stock.

All stock before I broke anything haha.

Out playin in the snow...good thing it's waterproof.

And then the 3S lipos went in. They're from SPC racing. I use a Thunder AC680 charger. If you guys want pix of that I can get some.

So then I broke 2 differentials. The third is one it's way out. The instant torque this little car makes snaps the teeth off the ring gear. Here's a few pix of the diff to show how small it is.

And the spider cross. For those of you that don't know this is what allows your wheels to turn at different speeds.

And then one night doing some 50+ runs it stood up on the front while trying to stop and flippped end over end. Ended up
    with a broken a arm.

A little tape and we're good to go.

And a zip tie for added security.

And the 50+ runs continued. I ended up breaking another a arm and got a whole set of red RPM a arms that have been holding up great. Plenty of bad crashes and they've held up.

Then I broke a front driveshaft which essentially made the car RWD, which we know doesn't work well in the snow.

Ended up breaking another after that and bought a whole set of steels. They've held up great.

Got bored one day and slammed it. I obviously didn't leave it like that.

And then my brushless motor decided to self destruct a few days ago. Not exactly sure why but i'm guessing I overheated it.

For sure go brushless. A 2 or 3 cell lipo will make it scoot nicely.

go T maxx nitro is so much more fun. my brother has one of them, its pretty indestructible.

pretty sure my brothers got the nitro revo too, does 55 out of the box. 2 speed trans, and reverse, if it hits second in some loose sand or dirt on the street, it breaks loose and you kinda got to save it to keep going straight. unless you let off the gas....who does that when 4 wheels are breaking loose? lol not me.

i used to have a old nitro stampede. i cant count how much i spend on rebuilding that truck, rears, dog bones, engines, i blew the stock engine, then rebuilt it a few times, then picked up a OS engine, blew it up, rebuilt it a few times, then got another traxxas engine and yes, blew it up, it got to the point i had 1 running in the car and 2 spares in the tool box. with a spare sleeve and piston and rod for each, plus extra carbs, glow plugs battery's, always a few sets of control arms, brush a curb its broken. ( dont forget the loc tight) sh it adds up fast.

99% of the blown engines are from when you run out or range, it takes off wot, locked at full. then crashes and flips over, then runs lean as it runs out of gas, thats when the rod blows or you seize the piston to the sleeve. anyone with nitro cars has heard this sound, its the worst sound a engine makes, screams bloody high RPM"S then just stops dead in its tracks, game over lol

damn thing got ran over once too, re building after that was about 150 in parts, but left me wide open for upgraded metal parts. lost the cooling head on the engine from the hit and run too.

    Some more pix

The tires I use for dirt/grass. They're Pro-line Dirt Hawgs. They raise the car half an inch and make it very unstable at high speeds. But they work great in this grass and dirt. Haven't had a chance to try them in the snow.

Broken bumper mount. A result of another 50+ run and tumbling end over end till a fence stopped it. Ripped the axle and a pivot ball adjuster out of the rpm axle carrier. Hard to see where it's broke. Also shows the RPM bumper.

Can also see the steel drivelines in this pic.

Random pic of it ripped apart one day for what I don't even remember.

Beat up this tire pretty good. Lots of burnouts haha

Had a lot of fun with this E-revo but I really want a fast car and have been looking at an XO-1 now that they've dropped in price a shiet ton.

Everything I've broke has been a result of me going way too fast/having too much power. The motor I'm not sure what happened. I've never heard of these motors doing what mine did

at least a piston rod and sleeve only ran me 20 bucks or so lol i love the carnage shots.

i used to have a small box of old blown up engine parts....

as soon as a plastic part would break id get metal replacements, ( when available) i wish i could have got a metal spur gear, as i used to eat them up. i even wore out clutch bell sprockets, and the bearings in side.

LOL, I have more carnage pix but I can't find them.
Last week before I destructed the motor I hit a 15-16" stick and split it around the a arm and it was legitimately stuck. Wish I would've got a pic of that. It was quite funny driving around with a stick literally stuck on the car.

A new one is probably 25-30 bucks, if you can't find your original one.
