hmm. looks like it, without all my better electronics, interesting
And HPI released the Exceed cars under the Maverick Racing name lol. Maverick Radio Control Cars
so exceed and mav, or exceed is maverick now?
Systems came today, upon further looking last night I need to tune the esc to get what I want out of it so I ordered the tuning box for it just now. Always something!

Actually the OEM is HSP for Exceed Maverick and Redcat Racing. All 4 sell the exact same car with different colors and graphics on the body and different electronics.

Also my "Interco Super Swampers" came in today. Those aluminum beadlocks have a lot more weight to them than I thought they would.

Slick I found a LRP brushless sensor system in my closet I bought 4 years ago but couldnt get to work and seeing online it needs a 6 prong wire going from motor to esc that I never had. I am waiting on LRP response but I would assume thats why the setup never worked because I never had this wire?
To be honest idk, and I wouldn't hold my breath to LRP getting back to you anytime soon. LRP gone - R/C Tech Forums
LMAO are you fcking kidding me?!?!??!?! Ugh aint that my lovely life luck
Are you using a modern 2.4ghz radio? I had a brushless system that no matter what I tried it would not work with my old school fishing pole antenna radio, all I got was a blinking light when I turned it on, it worked just fine with all my other radios.
What did it do the last time you tried it?
The twin det I am still using the og radio, AM radio.
Boys has a 2.4ghz I could try that for giggles. I dont remember what It did, light kept flashing or something
LOL:th_thumbsup-wink:
UPS dropped off some stuff :)

all this junk and no 1/5, wtf
This is the lrp super spin setup, I tried messing with it today on the boys 2.4ghz and its the same thing. I can get a green light, flashing red, flashing yellow,, flashing yellow by pushing the button but nothing activates the motor.

Also messed with the turnigy brushless before I mount it, seems no load I can WOT for 3 seconds before it reduces to half speed and the blue light flashes. I can let go of throttle go wot again and the light is still flashing but I get 3 seconds again before half speed. Is this some kind of no load protection? It warms the can up pretty fast messing with it with no load. This is why I hate modding rc's and cars, its NEVER just a drop in and go when you want more power.
Oh and the esc plug has a lip on it so it wont fit into the tuner unless I snip that off. always something.
HK site says esc is 7.2v, but the box says 8.4max, and online people are saying the esc ISNT designed for higher than 7.2, maybe thats the blue flashing light, over load.....
Figured it out, end points were off, recalibrated it my way and no more flashing blue lights. Both motors are tuned and calibrated now. Installed the front motor so its back to 2wd now until I figure out where to mount everything and go from there.
