    Alright first off folks, this should not be taken as an expert review or any such business. This is just me posting my personal thoughts and having some fun with it.

    As for my experience with both vehicles, the 2011 Mustang is a V6 with the 3.7L engine making 305 horsepower and 280 ft-lbs of torque. It has the pony package on it, Shaker audio system, black leather seats, automatic transmission, and back-up camera. Car weighs in at about 3500 to 3600 pounds. Brand new, the car would cost about 26 to 27k from my general guess. Car was bought for 21k with 5,000 miles on the odometer last summer. Oh, and it has the Pirelli p-zero tires.

    The Camaro is an RS packaged Maro, which means it has those BA Halo HID headlamps, SS wheels, spoiler, and tail lamps. The engine is a 3.6L V6 making 312 HP and 273 ft-lb of torque. Camaro weighs in at about 38 to 3900 with the V6 equipped (my general guess.) Interior is cloth with no other option other than back-up assist, which alerts you if you are about to run something over. The meat of the wheels is also, Pirelli P-zero tires, although wider than the mustangs. Brand new, you could figure the car to cost about as much as the Mustang. Car was bought for 21k with 15,000 miles.

    Now for the fun stuff!
    With both cars just about even in every category you would think both cars would be similar in its drive. Not so!

    2011 Mustang.
    Driving the mustang you have a smooth ride while at the same time being very "tight" I guess you could say when you hit bumps. For short drives, this is not to much of a problem. But if your constantly driving over crap surface for an extended period of time it begins to annoy you... The steering is very confident and follows your every command. Hitting the corners in it though is quite the experience. Now this is no race car but DAMN! This car is fun to throw around! The feel of the mustang in a corner with moderate speed is that it wants to kill you. You need to keep your attention to its every move or you might just lose it. Of the line this car hauls, getting onto a highway is a joke and passing people is just an excuse to floor it. If you want, you can hammer the pedal down and break the back loose fairly easily as well as power sliding. Leather seats hold onto you in the corners as well as being very comfortable and helping with the stiff ride. Audio system is just beautiful as well as the look of the car itself.

    2010 Camaro.
    The Camaro is just a sexy piece of machinery... I personally love the look ( I know a lot of you hate it.). With this automatic you have the ability of using little paddle shifters to take control of the car (sorta). I say sorta there because it wont let you do anything that might screw up the car royally. Such as holding to high of a rev or dropping the rpm so low that the car dies. Which is really a safe approach for the noobs out there. Straight line the car moves pretty good, but noticeably slower than the Mustang. Cornering in this car is ridiculously easy! Really, just about anyone could hit a corner going moderately fast and be just fine with only half your attention on the road. In my opinion, the Camaro can definitely corner easier than the Mustang, for your average Joe this is again, good news! The seats are not the most comfortable but are still decent enough to spend time in. The ride is noticeably softer than the Mustangs, but also holds some stiffness to it so that bumps are known. Backing the car up is a complete *****.... No back-up camera added with the horrendous blind spots in back is just plain dangerous and annoying. Yes the sensors help, but I would feel much safer backing up and seeing where exactly im going.

    The Winner?
    The 2011 Mustang. If anyone on this forum knows me, then you know I absolutely love the Camaro and have defended it as much as possible. But after driving both cars, I was kind of let down by it. Yes it corners better than the Mustang, but I really enjoy that, "I'm going to murder you if you take your attention off of me" attitude that the Mustang has in the corners. Cornering is just more fun in the Stang. Straight line both cars are fun, but the Mustang can do it with a burnout and still get up to speed faster than the Camaro in my experience and personal opinion. Not only that but for a V6 the Mustang sounds really, really good, while the Camaro is eh. With the Mustang you get more for the money as far as options goes. At about the same price you get heated leather seats, an upgraded audio system, and a back-up camera, as well as the other nick nacks such as a spoiler, wheels, striping, ect.

    So there you have it folks.... this amazing review is for the V6 versions and should absolutely not be applied to there V8 counter-parts. I have only been able to drive the Camaro SS, and even that was two laps of a short circuit. Would love to drive a Mustang GT with the coyote, but don't really have a chance at that anytime soon. I could guarantee that both of them drive much differently than there V6 counterparts.

    Thanks goes out to my parents, owner of the 2011 Mustang, for letting me have loads of fun in it as well as pushing it to its limits (hardly). And thanks to one of my friends for letting me drive his brand new Camaro the day he bought it.

    Good review man. My next car more then likely is going to be the new Mustang anyway just because of it being a great car overall and its good that you gave some review on both. For me I do like the look of the Camaro better, its just more bold and meaner looking then the mustang and it does seem to handle a lil better based on reviews. But the Mustang just seems to be just right. Good gas mileage, lighter, quicker, great aftermarket, and it looks pretty sleek. Plus its pretty affordable.

    Yeah, I used to laugh at the V6 models, but now these V6's are pushing more power than the older V8's with great mileage.

    Why anyone would buy a sports car and opt for a 6 cylinder is beyond me.

    They would opt for the V6 because you still get respectable performance, good looking car, and save 10k lol.
