I was tuning on a back road here in Central PA and hit 142mph I think. Fastest I have probably ever driven.

And that was just a couple months ago. So the car probably had 180k+ miles on it.

yea i also hit ~141-142mph the other weekend on an flat open-stretch freeway within a few seconds and hen i looked at my HUD i quickly let off the throttle and coasted down as the only worries i had were deer and worn tires...

126 and gov. kicked on. I tried, but it would not let me. Had plenty to go. Is what I read earlier true? A PCM will allow 150. I was guessing 140 with what I had left, but that was just a guess. I need better tires before I do though.

150+ on 2 different occasions...will I do it a third time...UMM...NO...car is getting too old to handle those speeds safely...now 125...yeah it handles that fine...above 130 and it starts to get a little on the scary side

Ironically I still have yet to beat that in a Patrol Car although I have hit 140 in one and a W-body in fact (06 Impalla)

I hit 112 with the GT before the speed limitor kicked in and backed me down to 107. Definitely had more petal. Removed speed limitor and hit 128.

    147.

Of course there was that one time coming back from Branson a few years ago I hit 171. I have picture proof from Coltrane's car trying to keep up.

    Photoshop proof.
