Its official! Motortrend caught gm testing out the ATS-V although in heavy camo. They said the engine note sounds more like a V8 than twin turbo V6 and are taking a stab that it won't be a tt setup anymore for lack of power! Thoughts?

They thought that the tt setup would only make about 380 hp. Which is not enough to beat the M3 which they are gunnin for.

I'd rather have turbo's....as we know with the 335's...with just a tune they out run the M3's

Yes, turbos would be fun because you'd end up wanting larger ones, needing a better intercooler because god knows the factory one will suck. Even on the stock turbos.

Also the downpipe and exhaust will be restrictive.

Probably cheap out on the diverter valve, the connecting rods, and the transmission.

The story of every turbo car ever?

Overpriced is right. A family member went to price one out and the premium 3.6 awd was $55k! Before tax, delivery and destination. Wowzers. She went with a CTS 3.6 awd premium which came out cheaper due to rebates and dealer cash. No rebates on the ATS because it's too new said the salesman.
