This is a blanket question for any late model OHV engine, can you run it with an aftermarket cam without a tune? I know it might not run well but how well would it run if anything? Enough to idle? Enough to drive to the tune shop?

As far as I know it would run normally under normal driving conditions, if you got on it that is when you might run into problems. On our cars you could run a VS or XP cam without a tune, but you would be limiting yourself by the stock tune.
I was just kind of wondering
Doesn't seem ideal at all.
I start them all the time before tuning. If the cam is the only real change, you'll be ok. Don't beat it, drive it nice.
