coming from a guy that owns a subaru and knows a bunch of guys that own nice subarus.....**** subarus.

there are two kinds of subarus:
    1) really expensive ones
    2) riced out ****ty ones

unless you have $25k to throw down on an STI dont even waste your time. and once you start looking at legit parts to mod it...haaaaaaaaaa.

Yeah only STI I have been considering was a 04 05 but most of those have tons of miles or tons of modds and are all overpriced by at least 2k-4k

they hold their value very well and you have no idea how many of these dudes blow motors. if it's being driven hard and modified you can expect it to need a built motor at one point in time. the bottom ends suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

and a built bottom end isn't cheap. bigger turbos aren't cheap. better cams aren't cheap. nice exhaust isn't cheap. a nice intercooler setup isn't cheap. good suspension parts aren't cheap.....you see what i'm getting at here? don't get suckered into it. in fact, i have never even driven, and don't know anyone with one, but i would say an evo is a way better car.

Yeah I am very familiar with how much it costs to modd let alone keep up a subaru...had 3 of them before the GTP and all my friends still drive wrx's forester xt etc...I loved my last legacy but the gtp has been a really nice faster car with way more comfortable interior...I really would like a cts-v but what I can afford has the diff issues...why don't you get another pontiac Bio?

if i get into another it'd be a g8. my other short list cars include a g3x sedan, a legacy gt, an audi of some form, or a regal gs (the new ones). i need to move into something more classy instead of this econobox i have now.
