Anyone have any experience/thoughts/likes/dislikes about the Mazda Millenia S?

Found a 2000 supercharged one on craigslist with decently low miles that needs a supercharger for cheap. They have always kind of intigued me lol So im looking into picking it up.

Yea I was kind of looking at prices and found a couple with 60 day warrenty for around 300. And for the price of the car plus that I think I can still make a little profit flipping it. But reading up on them it does seem like they can be spendy and have quite a bit of problems. It would just worry me if I ended up sitting on it lol I guess it will depend on how clean the car is when I look at it. He only want 500 buck lol

Nice cars when they are maintained but maintenance will kick your butt. I had a buddy that had one and every time maintenance came up it broke his pockets and everything seems to be in the worse spot so a diy'er would hate it.

If you can clean it and get it all done and in selling condition for under a grand, then sure.

    Otherwise...I wouldn't bother.

My sister had one as her 1st car.. she had it about 2 months. In that time the thermostat, alternator, cat convertor, heater hoses, ac, window regulators, and starter went bad, and the tranny started having issues. Then it just refused to start and scrapped it. She probably put 400 miles on it. Was also a giant pita to work on.
