    Yes it was bitter sweet

Since i owned the car outright at the time I got $6500 from insurance, bought it back from the insurance for $200 then sold the engine/tranny for $2500, got $200 for the leather seats, $250 for the rear and then lots of odds and ends but this was 3 1/2 yrs ago

and the wheels are on my new z now

dsmuts I'm not disagreeing with you about women drivers but just so you know a teenage boy rear ended me on the highway and pushed me straight into a guardrail

Was pulling a car out of a ditch after the July 4th fireworks, I was in the westbound lane sideways flashers, headlights on. A buick century with an 80 year old man driving eastbound. Swerved no brakes at 40 right into the side of my truck instead of staying in theyre own lane. Drove away the century was totalled.

Sent using Tapatalk 2 from my GS3.

LMAO. I think this thread was made specifically for me.

Anyway, yes these have been posted before, but since there is a thread dedicated to wrecked cars I'l post again. It also helps as a reminder that life is precious and you really need to be careful.

Story goes, it was a frigid cold night (something like 10* with a -10* windchill), and I was headed back to my cousin's house for the night in a car that the blower motor had died in so I was driving a little too fast when I approached an odd curve in the road. One of those curves that sweeps right and looks sharper than it is, and I crossed the center line, and over-corrected causing the car to snap around.

Long story short, car caught a telephone pole, ripped in half and the front half of the car ended up 100 feet down the road, still running.

I walked away with a scratch on my pinky.

And the aftermath the next day. Hood flew upon, wrapped around the windshield.

I had that happen with my passat but it just cracked the bumpers I took the $2200 and ran and sold it a month later for $1500. I made out like a bandit on that car.
