What the hell is up with this? I went to the 'Control Panel' and then to 'Add/Remove Programs' so that I could take off a few games that I never play anymore and when the list of programs load and I click on the ones I want to remove there isn't a 'Change' or 'Remove' button next to them like there should be.

However on the new programs that I've recently installed, like just yesterday, they do have the buttons to change or remove. Whats the deal?

A Recently Installed Program, Has Buttons-

    Older Program, Has No Buttons-

What about in the menu (Start Menu) for that program. Is there an 'Uninstall' option?

If Syn's idea doesnt pan out? You might have to root through your regristry to delete the entries in the add/remove program files section. Its not terribly hard, but if done incorrectly could be hazardous to your system. You should ALWAYS make a backup of your registry before doing any work on it. And if worst comes to worse and you do not wish to root through your registry for the programs, you can simply remove the folders wherever they might be installed to reclaim the used drive space and just leave the programs in the Add/Remove list. No real biggie honestly.

If you need help with the registry stuff, I can root my other XP box and find the correct location where you need to look for them.

If you should just decide to delete the folders where the games are installed. There is a great tool called RegSeeker which I have used I be for close to 10 years now and it is great for cleaning out the registry, start up entries, all that stuff that windows hides from you that you dont need.

I clean out my registry probably once a month with it and never had I had any problems.

Thats a huge program almost 2GB.....

Usually that is a side effect of the registry being out of whack, Have you restarted the PC since you installed the programs, sometimes a restart is needed to reset said regestry settings.... also a registry repair program like:
PC Repair with Advanced WindowsCare Free | Clean Registry, Clean Computer, PC Clean
Been using that one for a while

Sorry, haven't had time to come back and reply here. I just went ahead and went into the 'Program Files' and started manually deleting everything that I wanted gone. Worked well. Harddrive isn't maxed out anymore at least so thats a good thing.

Thanks for the program too 02BlueGT, downloaded it as well and seems to be a really good thing to have.

    Thanks everyone.
