I'm assuming that you got the caliper bracket off?? Rotors like to rust on. There are a couple ways to get them off, you could hit them on the friction surface with a hammer (if not worried about saving them this works well, if you want to keep them in good shape use the hammer in between the studs instead) and if they still are being stubborn use some pb blaster on the hub and the stud holes to loosen up some of the rust and then reuse hammer.
Once removed make sure to remove what ever rust might still remain on the hub otherwise the rotor will not seat correctly and cause vibration later.
Good luck!!![]()
yea im done with half the car now haha i just hammered the stock Pieces of **** off haha thanks anyways guys =] THEY LOOK TITS!
LOL, gotta love it. if that doesnt work..... get a bigger hammer!!!!!
SO TRUE and i did haha a nice hefty sludge hammer and beat the sh.t outta the stock rotors they litterally "FRONTS" had no friction material left haha. But the new ones are in and i swear to god i went from 0 to 80 then in about 3 seconds was at 0 they are amazing and perform sooooo well!
I bet that was a good stress reliever lol
SEXY end result =]![]()

BFH?? thanks guys for the compliments and kudos ha
Lmfao :]
the look good, i have the same ones..however. theyre on the wrong side..
you want the slots to cut into the pads from the inside of the rotor to the outside, not from the outside to the inside.
like so

r you telling me i did it wrong? they stop amazing so idk.....
Yeah they are on backwards. The slots in the rotor should be like the ones in Kyle's picture.
they might stop amazing now but the slot cutting into the rotors the way they are now are gonna eat up your pads worse than they will with be slotted anyhow. rotrs will get pitted because the pads will get torn up and youre out a brand new set of rotors and bads..
sorry to say it, but its not something i would want anyone to have to deal with. last time around, doing brakes myself, the parts cost almost $300...
so i gotta swap sides with the fronts???
i dont understand why my setup would be bad?
