You sure can.....it's called a top swap. Use the search feature and you'll find all sorts of info on that subject. OR You could go turbo!!![]()
Yep and its been done... alot. Why not go turbo, the sky's the limit when it comes to power.
The s/c is truly power on demand...no spooling like a turbo.
I don't have a link but it's not as simple as just putting a S/C on the car. You have to rebuild it from the heads up IIRC.
good luck haha. Getta GTP haha nah man you can do it =] itll be so worth it in the end haha =]
damn i didnt know it would be that hard. i could have traded my step dad my se for his gtp. seriously whats the difference between a gt and an se? besides a gt having deul exhaust.
My 97 SE came with the 3800, though it was dropped from the base mode a few years later. The SE was quicker than the GT, as it weighed a lot less since it didn't have all the fun features, body package and extra muffler.
it can be done deff. i thought about super charging my GT but your looing anywhere around 500 bucks for a new supercharger... and theres alot of other **** that needs done too, its not as simple as bolting a s/c on and wrapping a pully on it but OH yeah go for it. my opinion tho is a turbo would be cooler not sure on pricing on that tho never looked into it.
here is one on ebay.. and this says it saves fuel milage is this true??
