Hey guys i need some help hear. One of my good friends wants to do a trade. His 97 gtp 4 door. 75K miles with a rebuilt trans..... FOR my 99 Jeep cherokee with many upgrades and 130k miles.

I really don't know much about these cars, are they reliable?
Would this be a good trade?
    Please help me out guys....

This is probably in the wrong section and should be moved, either way, welcome to the forum!!! Search around on here, there is a lot of info on these cars that should answer your questions.

As far as reliability - they are very reliable, yet there are certain common flaws.

However without seeing the one you will be possibly getting, its hard to say if this is a good deal.

3.4", 3" cated DP, SLP Air box, TB spacer, 180* Thermo, "Bilemke Tuning".

    And the GTP

I told him to take that bumper off and put the stock back on if we were to do the trade.

Lmao, lift your Jeep and run over the GTP.

Or pay me and I'll do it in the Land Rover.

On second thought, I might run over that one for free.

in all honesty. its up to you. the 97's were the first year of the new body style.......

I am sure both vehicles have their certain flaws...... That is by far the cleanest Jeep I have seen in a long time! props to you!

The GTP..... looks like it could use some work........
