    Today the first 3.7 V6 Mustang broke into the 12s, even with a head wind, so I expect him to go a bit deeper later on.





    Mods: 3.73 gears, C&L CAI, AM/Bama tune, BBK LT's, O/R X-pipe, Flowmaster 'Force II' axleback, Shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, slicks

    Those things are a lot quicker than most people think. Everyone seems to think that if it's not rumbling it's the old 4.0.

    He needs some suspension mods... it moves way too much. He'd pick up some time there.

    1.7x 60 isn't bad at all IMO.

    Needs an upgraded clutch/flywheel/weight reduction.

    Probably run mid 12's then, they ain't light.

    Actually, the v6s aren't that fat. I think they're around 3400lbs.

    Cutting 300-400lbs + trans mods would put it in mid 12's, as every hundred lbs off the car is about a tenth or so off the quarter.
