I've been watching all day. They're running street class right now which is 10.8 and slower. Earlier someone in the racecar session ran 6.94 at 208!!! Quickest and fastest ever at Drag Week.

This is just day 1, it goes all week. If you don't know about drag week, basically they have to drive the cars from city to city and they race at every place they stop. A lot of these guys haul trailers behind their cars to make the trip.


Its the drag racers version of Shark Week.

That's true. They didn't let my friends at 1320video.com do their live feed this year or any filming for that matter, because Hot Rod didn't want any 3rd party media. Kinda BS because 1320 could make a better dvd then what whoever hotrod hired will.

Anyway... It starts back up at 0830 Texas Time.

Hot rod mag might be owned by motor trend, which would make sense. They're trying to make a good youtube channel.

Looked into it a little further, looks like its all hosted directly off their own site?

The live feed is on youtube.com/live as well... But besides that the videos seem to only be hosted on hotrod. I don't know. I just got home and turned on live and I think I just missed someone exploding their racecar.
