guys i repair iphones almost weekkly, sub contracted out of a local shop the digitizer is what is the touch aspect and then the screen, usally when the glass is cracked and lcd is good its easier to replace as a whole cause you never know if the crakced glass messed up the digitizer. o and i seemed to do this for people quite often after they see mine

parts arond 5or 6 bucks, its the labor involved in it. whole phone gets dissembled. the place i work out of get 45 an hour for something like that. tideous work. but if you think you can do it i can get the piece, but it wont be just the button its the proximity sensor, lights sensor, and the button in one ribbon cable
Yeah. We thought about repairing them. Since I'm smart and handy and parts are cheap.
She will probably pick up a new 4s when they go on sale $99 after the 5is released. I will hold my idea until tomorrow when the 5announcement is made
im gonna go preorder tomorrow, with upgrade, so i will have 2 iphone 4's for sale and maybe a third if i change the back out
