they are +38 offset..just checked.

no rubs at all not even close....i just bolted them up nothing special you will be fine with 42 offset will just sit in a little more for you

should i keep looking for maybe some +35 or even +38

well stock is +52 i think so you will be better than stock with 42. yeah 35 or 38 would be better but hard to tell....may i ask what rims you are lookin at getting?

yeah i have +38 with a 8" wide rims and 225 tire width...not sure how much wider i could go

im guessing you have either a gt or gtp...cause on an se the rims appear to stick out farther when they really dont

well if you lower your car you may run into problems if you go with a lower offset like i have....Im not a fan of lowering your car because it makes your cars suspension wear out faster
