I know it's been forever since I've been on and I'll update y'all on a couple things. First, I no longer have the Grand Prix, I sold it for $3500 after I found out the frame was bent to some kid. After I sold it I went and bought a 1999 F-150 Ext cab with the 5.4L and had 230k miles on it and drove like a dream. I shortly after buying that realized how much it was going to cost in gas so I traded it in for what I own now.
I purchased a 1998 Ford Mustang GT with 85,XXX original miles on it. It's in excellent condition, runs like a brand new car and has a little work but just enough.
Has a tune, 3.73 gears, and a 3 chamber Flowmaster exhaust. Here's some pictures and a video.

:P I love it! Sometimes I'll just be sitting at a light and give it a few revs just to feel the body of the car twist

Dump the 3.73's and go to 4.10's. Stick some shortie headers on it, X-pipe, exhaust, pullies and a PI intake/cam swap. Should get you into the low 13's. If you want more check out Modularheadshop - MHS for some goodies. Nick McKinney and crew have spent some good time getting the modular heads down pat and I'd recommend them to anyone. Been eyeing a set of heads for my Vic now that it's paid for, lol.. I'm sure the wife wouldn't mind

Eh 4.10's are not something I need in my car. Granted they are great gears but I do alot of highway driving and driving at 3500-4k all the time won't be healthy in the long run. Even though the Modular 4.6's LOVE high rpms I just couldn't test my luck.

Don't fear the gear! Lulz, honestly though, you wouldn't see that high of an rpm at 70 in 5th with 4.10's. More like 2500/2600 rpm's. And of course your mpg's will go down a little bit. Really, the only people who shouldn't go with 4.10's are people who are really obsessed with mpg's, and do a BUNCH of highway miles, or people who plan on F/I at some point down the road. A lot of mustang owners who choose 3.73's wish they had gone with 4.10's after the fact, not so much the other way around.
