My 95 Explorer has had pretty good brakes since we bought it, I drove it one day and it was good and normal. It sat for about 2 weeks and then I had stuff taken apart on the GP so I went to drive the Explorer to work. I went to stop at the stop sign leaving my street and I nearly coasted through it, the pedal went right to the floor.
It wasnt like I had zero brakes, and there was some resistance in the pedal, but it was like... for a split second when you push on the pedal there's some pedal pressure and then it just gives out and goes almost all the way to the floor, then you feel some pedal resistance and a little brake power. But even when you do put it to the floor it's only still light braking. I checked around the master cylinder and see no leaks of any kind.
Google is telling me everything to broken MC/Booster, worn pads, sticking calipers, air in the system, bad caliper hoses... no work has been done and there's no fluid anywhere on the ground so I dont see there being air in the lines or broken hoses, I looked all over on the street for fluid where I tried to stop cause the first thing I thought was a brake line gave out. I sat out front of my house and pumped on the brakes but still didnt see any fluid around.
