    I have the chance to buy a Miata for $300, needs an engine and right fender. Thoughts? Input? Oh its a 5 speed soft top.

    do it and swap a 5.0l h-0 foxbody mustang engine into it, my uncles doing a project such as that as we speak

    why anybody would waste their time swapping in a 5.0 from a fox is BEYOND me...
    you could LS swap.
    or you could just go turbo.
    but for 300 bucks you CANNOT go wrong with that.

    177lbs @ 6ft I fit in one, not super comfortably. Just looking to get to work and back. Maybe flip it after while. I've been in one that was slammed driving under truck trailers fast and furious style, well not really they were parked at a distribution center. Was a cool experience.

    last time i sat in one my eyes were over the windshield top up, top down i dont fit at all. im 6'6 that was in the pass seat, the drivers seat was not a option at all.
