We had guys in basic training that could disassemble the M-16 (same internals as the AR-15 she did) sub ten seconds.

I stripped the M-16 further than she did and put it back together in less than 45 seconds. Seriously guys, it's not that hard and hardly "record" time. Maybe record for an eleven year old. Is she good? Sure. But given that kids are naturally good with their hands it wouldn't take much to teach one how to take it apart.

I'm not too bad with it either...

That girl is awesome! Troops in Vietnam would find weathered rusted ak's, kick the bolt open and fire a magazine with lil to no probems. The Kalashnikov rifles were cheaply made, easy to field strip, with little or no maintance. Think of how many 3rd world countries who's armies are armed with AK-47 & AK-74's and there main battle rifle. 30 rds of .30 caliber (7.62X39mm) @ around 700 rounds per min. that can easily penetrate most B.P. vests, and not much fire training, its no wonder that the "towel heads" and Commies pick the AK as the weapon of choice.

I could use your help in my shop lol...I do quite a bit of work on AR-15's, mostly custom work.

If I was in NC, I'd love to help out. I love the M16/M4/AR15.

As a matter of fact, the weapon I qualified on was a AR15 modded to a M16. About 2/3 of the group's weapons were actual M16s, and the remaining 1/3 were modded AR15s.

The best part of our timed disassemblies/reassemblies was at the end (not counted as your total time, but still timed for reference) after you had ops checked it you slapped in a mag and fired a single round at a target calibrated to be 50m away. Headshot baby.

lol the modded AR-15's had a drop in auto sear, possible trigger group and auto bolt. Military and military style weapons are my personal favs.
If you ge the chance, fire a AR chambered in .204 ruger...damn those things are fun. Sure the ammo cost more than the 5.56/.223 Rem ,but hey thats what custom stuff is all about.

Pretty good for for an 11 year old girl. We have some that have been in the military for a while that still have problems with it.

My best time was 36 secs, but that was practicing day and day in basic...she was faster than other soldiers I know for sure! Now if she could do a 240B in under a min!
