So, I just let my brother drive my 99 gtp, Needless to say, he fell in love as soon as we took off. (I think the hud got him going)

anyways, hes looking at getting rid of his 05 cobalt for a gtp. (kudos for him) I really hope he buys one.

Its a plain jane 05, as cheap as you can get. It was also free (long story).

I think it was the difference between a loaded gtp, and a base balt.

Better than a 97-03 you'll either overpay for with cheap ass interior, electronics, defective parts that gulps down gas and sips on coolant.

I still maintain with his options a turbo kit for the 'balt would suit him better.

Id say the 97-03 interior is much better than the base model 05 balt. The seats in the balt are extremely uncomfortable. Drive it for an hour, and your ready to GTFO of that car. His interior has more squeeks and rattles as well. It feels sub par to my opinion.
