My friends dad just bought a 01 Buick Regal and it has the 3.8 Supercharged motor so we took it for a drive. He was driving it hard for a while and then we whent back to his house. When we got out we noticed smoke coming from under the car and a yellow glow. So I open the hood and the front of the motor is on fire a round the manifold. I had a bottle of chocolate milk so I dump it on the fire as my friend got a bucket of water. We got the fire out be for anything got hurt. The front manifold was glowing red hot so I think it caught oil on fire that was on the block. The valve cover gaskets are bad so there was a lot of oil on the block. My friend and I never looked under the hood be for we drove it.We think the catalytic converter is plugged. It was a good thing I had a bottle of chocolate milk lol His dad don't know yet and I bet that's going to be one fun talk.

Tell your friend that the valve cover gaskets were recalled and they must not have been changed. Son > Dad
Then when the dad finds out that the oil spills out of the recalled gaskets because of heavy breaking... Dad > Son

    Circle of life

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

Just be for we pulled in his driveway he was on the brakes hard. I knew of the recall but did not know the oil came out in hard braking with the old gaskets.
