dry county. the people who run the hotel told us to go to ANOTHER STATE to get something to drink.

we asked if there was a restaurant that would serve something to drink and she was like "a restaurant that serves ALCOHOL?"

wtf is wrong with this side of the states? i know we have our own problems up north, but at least we attempt to make them disappear in small doses.

I lived in a dry county that was next to one that wasn't so it worked out fine and then last year they passed the laws and then before you know it there are enough stores to keep everyone supplied.

dry counties as a whole are retarded. there is no reason for them. it forces people to drive farther to drink and people are always going to drink.

but to put it in comparison, there are like 25 bars and 10 places to buy booze within a 2 miles radius of my house. coming down here is way, way too much culture shock for me.

Dude, it isn't hard to find the places that well sell it, even in a dry county. Everybody drinks, its just hush hush. Gotta find somebody to trust you is all.lol

Watch out though, if they tell you to go to a state to the East, you may run into some suspender wearing men who hear that WI accent and decide you gots a purty mouth...

Dry counties are about as dumb as no casinos in Texas. All the revenue generated from them are going to the neighboring states.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

Hey, the GF made them and the bottle was pretty small. It got the job done along with some help of a few "normal" margaritas. I don't drink beer... unless I had to pick between yak piss and beer... and only then it would be beer.
