the sedan and coupe use the same floor pans with the same seat mounting locations. leg room should be the exact same
I thought the GP would make a good family car but I'm having second thoughts on that now. Mini vans are faster and have more room.
i am biased but i think a 2.2/2,5 turbo caravan would be pretty sweet
or this
there is a caravan like that that runs 13.3 at my home track
4g63 caravans are legit
huh? that's the chrysler 2.2/2.5 not the mitsu 4 that was in the earlier ones
The three I've seen in person were all swaps. Didn't know people kept the chrysler power plants
You've said the Caravan is faster several times now even though it's been pointed out to you that you're wrong several times. A SLOW stock GTP might run low 15s in the 1/4 mile (which is STILL faster than the new Caravan), but the majority run in the upper-14s, while quite a few pull mid-14s bone stock. Mid-to-high 15s is NA territory. Yes, it's decently fast for a minivan, but it is NOT anywhere near in contention with even a stock GTP. And considering the GP IS a "sporty" FAMILY car (thus why S/C 3.8 owners who think they have race cars annoy me), if you're having trouble using it for it's intended purpose, the fault may not be the cars...
I was basing my response on one source that had 1/4mile times for the three vehicles in question.
My experience with the baby seat was not positive, it just barely fit.
I ran 14.514 @ 93.something in my bone stock GTP at Pontiac Nationals in 2007 on all seasons, first time ever racing, 90*+ day. 15.7 is not stock GTP territory.
Depends if your 6000 feet above sea level or not :\
yup altitude kills speed
