true. Just think about what can happen now. The government can imprison anyone with no trial, and for however long they want, by military action, and all they have to say is that the person was suspected of terrorism. It really scares me for some reason.

That's what was said about the NDAA, and it passed. Obama even threatened for the longest time to veto the bill if it ever passed, but for some reason once it passed the House, Obama had a sudden change of mind and signed the NDAA.

If something as absurd as the NDAA can pass, then so can this.

i completely agree. the patriot act was one thing. the NDAA is down right unconstitutional. for the government to turn its military on its own citizens in order to imprison them, with no trial, untill the threat passes. **** that! especially considering the "threat" is terrorism, an idea that will never pass. all they have to do is say that the person is a terrorist, and that person is gone. hauled off to some secret prison. if theyre lucky the military will just shoot them on the spot.. which is legal.. now. public executions, again with no due trial.

the media is already controlled by the government. now if SOPA passes, how the **** is the general public going to know what is happening? theyre not. WE're not. ****ing hell, big brother will block any undesirable info from our eyes. Any person who speaks up, speaks negatively about this nation could be a potential terrorist. that is untill they are relocated, by the armed forces, to a prison no one knows about, with no trial, where they'll rot untill ****ing terrorism dies.

repeat after me... WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL

Google is bigger than all 142 companies (and slowly declining number) combined that support this stupid thing. Hence why I say it will fail.

A list of the 142 companies went public and they are paying the price...BIG TIME.

In fact GoDaddy has no jumped off the Pro bandwagon along with I heard 5 or 6 others and got on the Anti-offensive.

Again this will not pass as google and others will stuff the politicans pockets with enough money so it won't pass. And thats all this bill was about, to stir us up and help the politicans line their pockets with more money.

To name the top companies on the list btw:

    -Disney
    -Marvel (in Disney's pocket anyway)
    -DC Comics
    -News Corp
-Gospel music (yeah, who gives a **** right?)

    On the otherside:

    -Google
    -Apple
    -Microsoft

    Right there that spells defeat

One more thing, Google and all the supporters are planning a nuclear attack...basically they will shut down the internet for a day.

Can you imagine the 18yo kiddies without Facebook for a day, holy hell there is gonna be some serious riots. It would be awesome if Go Daddy shut down all domains for a day and some of the hollywood movies and Artists used GoDaddy for a domain. OOPS your page has been censored LOL

I'm not so confident that his won't eventually pass. I'm also quite surprised that the NDAA hasn't recieved morre attention in the US. There has been a disturbing trend since 9/11 to take away rights in the name of security. Benjamin Franklin said it well; "Those who would sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither."
