ok right now my 00 silverado is 40inchs in the front from wheel well to the ground and 39inchs in the rear, currently the rear end has no block spacers. i would like to fix the height issue and no im not dropping the front ive been fighting months to get 40 inches and i finally got it. should i put a 2inch spacer in the rear? ( currently have some in a box) or should i buy the autozone 1" block for 34 dollars? so 40 inches in the rear or 41 inches is what im asking. what would look better? higher or even?

    thanks.

just check stock height FRONT- 35" REAR- 38"

Okay plain and simple, would the truck look better with the rear slightly raised or should i make it dead even with the front, also if i make it 2 inches taller when i haul something it wont drop as much.

go 41 inches in the rear. IMO it looks a little better, and like you said if your towing something heavy, it wont looks weird if it sags a little. just my $0.02

went with the 2" blocks in the rear it looks pretty damn cool and it saved me 34 dollars, ill take pictures when i get my camera. only issue i ran into was a tight rubber brake line, so i made do with washers and a longer bolt. worked great.

oh btw the blocks were factory, gm inserts blocks from factory to give it more height in the rear for towing, when i got new hd leafsprings that had 2 extra leafs it took the 2" right there so i took out the blocks. luckily i kept them.

if i can find 1.5" blocks i'd be happier but no luck...

i used 2 inch blocks on the rear, when i did the torsion bar lift keys up front, made the back a bit higher than the front, and when it had all the weight from work tools and materials it sat level, i like the rake look myself. and when towing my boat, it was 4,000 lbs, it sat level too, no sag.
