I replaced the SC snout the first time around 95K. The valve cover gaskets I just did those in November, technically before the recall was issued. The snout is about to be replaced again. It is overdue.
At this point, I really can't complain about anything I have to repair or replace. I mean I can but I can't.
I've got 180421 on my GP, and it's still going great, I did the ubend and cat delete with aftermarket mufflers about 100 miles ago and did the dhp pcm 500 miles ago and it all still runs like a champ, But my torque converter keeps slipping from time to time so I know thats on the to do list sometime
it's ok the cheap S.O.B's only replace the front for the recall...so you'd had to do the rear by yourself....which I now have to.
but what's the deal with the snout??? is it leaking?? you said you replaced it at 95k, so what's your mileage now? and you say it's overdue....so when is it actually due? and why?
164 K on the '95 GP head and intake gaskets changed about 4 thousand miles ago and now the trans is slipping. No Smoke don't burn any oil tho.
