Type "Pontiac Grand Prix" into youtube and you'll get a bunch of vids with people taping their speedometers as they go crazy speeds at what appears to be impossible times..
But here is the real kicker... they really are pretty darn impossible times as far as I am concerned...
See, typically most cars will have MPH as the primary measurement for speed - cars for the US that is... and below the MPH you'll see Km/h in a smaller type and usually a different color..
I don't know about models prior to 04, but I know on mine which IS an 04, km/h are not displayed in that manner. Instead, you go to the DIC, and you have a selection of standard (MPH) or Metric - if you choose Metric, the needle on the speedometer just adjusts along the scale to whatever you're speed would be in kilometers per hour...
SO WHAT IS MY POINT?
Go to youtube and you'll see that this is what MANY of them are doing. They select km/h and do a stupid grainy video and try to pass it off as if they are going from 0-100 in like 4 seconds. er... stupids. Just look close enough and often you'll see km/h displayed very small like to the right of the needle. When MPH is on, I believe it shows up in green to the left of the needle...
Another indicator... when many of them let off the gas, the "MPH" which are actually KMH, decrease quite rapidly... too rapidly for MPH..
FOOLS.
I find it hilarious and pathetic, heh.
Not to burst their baloons or anything... You just HAVE to be honest about these things...
