Alright guys for some reason I have gotten the itch to start getting into doing HDR photos and want to gain some experience in doing so. With this being said I was wondering if some of you guys could either put the IMG code in this thread or email me (kevinlangfeld@gmail.com) some pics of your vehicles and let me play around with doing HDR images of them. I did a couple super quick ones last night for FFDP and Nawark and this is how it came out. Let me know what you guys think.....

I like the look... seems more like art than a photo that's been shopped

You can't take a picture and turn it into an HDR picture. HDR pictures are actually multiple pictures taken at several exposures and then processed using software (Photomatrix, HDR Darkroom, Photoshop, etc.) for creating a single image with High Dynamic Range.

Its not HDR though. As said HDR is 3 (or more) images at different exposure levels that are then overlaid and then messed with to get desired results.

This guy knows. Real DSLR cameras for HDR photography have like 10 exposure stops.....I want.

I've tried to do real HDR before, about an hour in, I gave up and decided to use CS4 or 5 I don't remember which I had at the time's auto HDR thing, which used multiple pics. I never was able to get a true HDR look.

In summary, the only way to acheive HDR is by doing true HDR.

    NOOOOOOO! Read the thread.

You cannot make an HDR photo from one shot. You need 3 or more shots at different exposure levels and a program that will properly overlay them so you can get the desired effect.

I read the posts, I know. I just want to see what he does with this picture, HDR or not.
